Designed in NYC. Handcrafted of supple suede leather and an upcycled fabric, on which the bag’s hand embroidery is done. Identifiable with signature hand knotted top handle. Versatile for evening and day use. Lies flat against the hip when worn as a crossbody. Constructed with expert attention to detail. Strategic placement of hand stitches for added reinforcement and luxurious finishing.
The symbols on bag are inspired by our creative director’s trip to Amer Palace in Jaipur, India. The magic flower is a marble fresco motif with seven hidden symbols intended to test how clever the Maharaja's visitors were upon their arrival. This bag features each symbol: a fish, an ear of corn, a lotus, an elephant trunk, a lion tail, a cobra, and a scorpion.
After two years of design, formulation, research and development, our signature Ina Series was engineered for production. Though spacious, this teardrop bag is the smallest of the Ina Series. The bag requires meticulous and precise craftsmanship to complete.
The well-being of the garment workers and artisans skillfully producing our bags is always at the core of our design and manufacturing philosophy as we work with our partner factories to incrementally implement “The behno Standard.”
